Basic information
The Central Archive is responsible for the organisation, control, conservation, access and dissemination of the Department's documentary heritage, as well as a source of information, both for the Public Administrations and for citizens.

History
The Central Archive of the Ministry of Finance, created by Royal Order of 25 June 1850, is one of the oldest in the General State Administration. You can find out more about its history and evolution at the following link:
