Act 9/2017, of 8 November, on Public Sector Contracts, transposing Directives 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU, of the European Parliament, of 26 February 2014, into Spanish law, establishes a new governance system to ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.
The Independent Office for Regulation and Supervision Public Procurement (OIReScon), a collegiate body created with the aim of ensuring the correct application of legislation and, in particular, to attendance and combat illegalities, in relation to public procurement, plays a key role in this system. The Office shall act for the development of its activities and fulfilment of its objectives, with full independence both at organic and functional level.
Within the framework of the functions entrusted to the Independent Office for Regulation and Supervision Public Procurement (OIReScon), you may also draw up studies, guides, manuals and protocols of good practice, as well as other similar documents whose purpose is to provide the actors involved with appropriate legal and procedural guidance.
