Centralized procurement of goods and services comes under the remit of the Directorate General for Rationalisation and Centralisation of Public Procurement and the Centralized Public Procurement Board.

Pursuant to Section 347.2 of the Law 9/2017, of 8 November, on Public Contracts, said Profile is published on the Platform for Public Sector Procurement.
The Central Services Contracting Board of the Ministry of Finance is governed, in addition to the Public Sector Contracts Law and regulatory regulations on contracting matters, by Order HAC/581/2024, of June 3, published in the Official State Gazette on June 12, 2024, which creates and regulates the Central Services Contracting Board and the Central Services Contracting Board of the Ministry of Finance.
The Contracting Board is made up of representatives of the Undersecretariat and the State Secretariats of the department, and is responsible for contracting, within the scope of the central services of the department, services, supplies of consumable goods or goods easily damaged by use and simple repair, conservation and maintenance works, unless these contracts fall under the jurisdiction of the Centralized Contracting Board, or the simplified open procedure, the minor contract or the emergency processing procedure is followed.
